1997 BMW M3 Per Ebay's Rules this car has a salvage history! I am relisting this vehicle because Ebay said I was misrepresenting the car. The car has a salvage history but has been repaired and inspected by the State of Virginia. I have a branded title (as you can see in the pictures worry wart BERT!). The car can be titled and driven in all 50 States I also do not have a reserve on this car. If you get it for $2,900 you got one hell of a deal and I lost my rear-end!! I bought this BMW back in March at an Insurance auction. The reason I purchased it was the only damage was a front nose assembly. I repaired the car and had it inspected by the State of Virginia. I have replace the following items: Both left & right lower control arms M3 Stabilizer Sway Bar Links front Both rear lower control arms Shocks in rear Painted car New 17" low profile tires front & rear Front Bumper assembly New Michelin spare rim & tire New Battery New windshield The car runs fine, has good compression, transmision shifts on-time and hard, it does not overheat or throw any codes except the airbag light will come on then go off. I have been told by other E36 M3 owners that this is not uncommon. The M3 will need a four wheel alignment and a charge on the A/C. Plus it needs some odds and end minor interior pieces, nothing major. It also needs a radio, I have two of them that I will let go with the car but they dont work either. If you are looking for a 13 year old new car keep looking, if you are looking for a BMW M3 that you can tinker with this is your car! I have sold several BMW's on Ebay this year and you can see by my feedback I am not in the business of trying to sell other people my problems. I purchased this car as a project to keep me busy while I was recuperating from a injury in January. I am returning to college and really have no time left to devote to this car, plus I have five other BMW's that I can fiddle with. I am selling the M3 at what I have into it less my sweat & blood. If you want to make me an offer send it to me and I will consider it. The car is also for sale in my front yard with major traffic flow so I have the right to end this anytime soooo if you want it BID, or make me an offer! I can have car delivered up to 160 miles form 24531 for $225. This M3 is being sold AS-IS condition.
