Black 1995 Saab 900 SE Turbo. 2.0 liter four cylinder turbo motor with 5 speed manual transmission. DOES NOT RUN. Car has no tears in the black leather seats, seats are heated, 6 disc CD changer, automatic climate control and factory security system. I had the head milled 20 thousandths, ports polished, three angle valve job and all new seals about 200 miles before the bottom end went out. I have removed the oil pan and found the following. the number one cylinder rod bolts broke, the cap went straight down into the oil pan and the crank journal beat the rod end up. I can see no cracking of the block. As this is the condition, the motor will need the following: The crank repaired/replaced, a new connecting rod for the number one cylinder, new rod bolts, new rod bearings, new oil pickup tube and new oil pan. Will also need the exhaust re-welded as it broke in the course of taking everything apart. Before the bottom end went out I had upgraded the car with a new radiator, thermostat and cooling fan. Also cross drilled and slotted rotors with EBC "Red Stuff" pads all the way around, stopping distance decreased dramatically after installing the brake components. These cars are very fast and handle amazingly well.
