Here is my 1989 Toyota Cressida, otherwise known as the MX-83. It has 229,000 original miles, and is in good condition. It has a smooth-as-silk Inline 6 cylinder (Just like the Supra) and an automatic transmission with "power" or "normal" setting. It is one of the few rear wheel drive Toyotas, and the drivetrain is solid and sturdy. It has air, power windows and locks and mirrors, and a nice CD player/radio. It runs and drives good, and is reliable. It was purchased new in North Carolina, and I am the 3rd owner. I have the service records dating back to when the car was new. It has a fairly new master cylinder and has had rotors and brakes all around. I just put a brand new, high cranking capacity battery and new cables on it. The paint is really good, with just minor dings, and some fading on the driver-side mirror. The interior is plush, and in good condition, with the original floormats. It's not mint, but, it's really held up well. Check out the history report...It's great! The oxygen sensor probably needs to be changed, and, like all older Toyotas, it leaks a little oil. Neither affects the use of the car. The tires are very good on the rear;the fronts are a bit more worn, but are serviceable. I use a redneck hood support (wood dowel). The power steering has a small leak, but, some Lucas could fix it. It's not that bad, and can be driven as-is. It would make a great second car, or teenager car, or pizza delivery car. It's one of the better Toyotas, and, in its' day, was the "Lexus" in their lineup. I have a good title in hand, the original owner's manual, and a service book, and the original window sticker from 1989. Cash sale only. I don't use PayPal. Other than this, I have a pocket notebook from previous owner with: O2 sensor at 178,000 miles Front brakes and rotors in Sept 2006, in between oil change at 196,300 and 202,520 miles Battery at 212,800 miles Rear brakes and rotors at 215,800 miles And, oil change at 226,740 miles Plus, the new battery I had installed a few weeks ago. FYI, I have the final sale paper from 5/19/89. It was purchased new at Scott Clark's Toyota City, Inc for $20,725 cash. The window sticker shows a total of $23,498.
