*****UPDATE******Update - While many of you have private messaged me on purchasing this car, and i appreciate it....here is the bottom line. A local sale is preferred, would really like you to have a chance to come see her, drive her, etc. -The price is always negotiable - again, i need to sell her to pay for my entry into Rally America (and yes, pay for my car)-I have a very very small note on it, so while the price is flexible, lets be realistic.-Statis Coilovers and AWE exhaust alone where $3k, hybrid Turbos another $2k, chip, air, race seats, etc. You get the picture.-She pulls like a raped ape, sound mean, looks mean. The STICKERS could all be removed in 10 minutes, and aside from the hood and front bumper (which i re-shot) the paint is original, and very very nice for the age of the car.------------------------On the way into the office today (8 miles) i noticed bit of under hood smoke. Could be tape, could be a wire on hot exhaust part, could a number of things...Car is offered AS IS, but with upgrades below, could be a great project.-RUNS SOLID. Please read this full description which is an accurate representation of the condition, upgrades, work done, etc. Let me start by saying this car was listed, and sold on EBAY about 5 months ago, however, upon inspection, there was a question about the health of the K04/k16 Upgraded Hybrid Turbos-so we stopped the sale, and she went into the shop. I personally did all of the work, over 3 months, and approx 50 hours. Syptoms: Car had smoke at start, in cold weather...but no loss of power.Possible: Turbos, Spider Assembly, Cam Seals.Action: I pulled the motor (see pics) and checked every system....Turbos, Spider/Breather Assembly, Cam seals. Turbos look new inside. No spindle wiggle at all, either side. Seals looked great. Turbines spun 100% freely. No debris, noise, or anything. Next step, pulled spider hose assembly. TOTALLY CAKED WITH OIL SLUDGE. So what happens with these cars is that pressure in the crank casing causes the oil to pressureize, which puts high pressure oil into the turbos, which causes blow by, which fills your charge pipes with oil, which gets hot and smokes. So, $200 for the breather assembly from my audi dealer, and then 20 hours putting it all together. I also buttoned up a ton of other things, put in a CXracing FMIC (oh, i love this upgrade), did the rear brakes, pads, lubed spindles, etc. lubed e-Brake.
