NO RESERVE Your chance to win the bid on a classic and one of a kind on Ebay. This is a very rare Mitsubishi 3000GT Spyder, in excellent shape! I have owned this car for 6 years and it has always been covered in bad weather and during the winter months. If you are familiar with the 1995 3000 GT Spyder, you are aware there were less than, actually, 700 made for sale in the United States, and most with a new retail price from $64,000 to $67,000. The window sticker on this car was $66,000+ new. This is a collector car and will be MD state inspected, if the buyer lives in MD. It currently has passed the MD State Inspection, which is one of the most comprehensive in the United States. The vehicle has been maintained every 3,000 miles and has only had FULL synthetic oil since 60,000 miles. I am selling this car ONLY because I do not have a garage to store it and the cover is no longer sufficient to protect it from the severe weather we have in MD. When I purchased the vehicle, it had clear coat sprayed all over the paint. If anyone knows paint and clear coat properties, you will understand that RED paint should never have clear coat applied. It will crack and peel. I had the car stripped and repainted the original factory color, which will NOT effect the collectors escalating value. The paint has a chemical protection to prevent fading. The interior also has a coating to prevent any spills from staining it. The engine compartment is as clean as a new car. Interior like new with no blemishes. The radio was replaced as the original one was not in the vehicle when I purchased it. I had all the hydraulic hoses replaced in the top, new struts and all new tires. Air conditioner recharged, Transmission had complete service work with new seals and any worn gears replaced. As you can see below, the timing belt and water pump has been replaced at the 60,000 mile service. All the glass, except for the windshield is tinted black. Original wheels have locks. It has a Viper alarm system that will chirp if anyone touches the car. The N.A.D.A. values on this vehicle, as of May 3rd, are Avg Trade-in $11,175, Clean Trade-in $12,275 and Clean Retail $14,875. It has equipment that was before it's time. Anti lock brakes, Power Antenna, power trunk cover, Viper Alarm, Air, Vented Disc Brakes Fog lights, Lumbar Support, Power outlets, Rear spoiler, Dual airbags, Map lights, Power steering Rear defogger and more options. It has a sport suspension that is activated at the push of a button, or you can leave it on cruising mode. The tires have just been replaced and they are Yoko low profile tires. This car has only had premium fuel used in it. It will also have NO RESERVE. As I stated, I must sell it as I have no place to store it. I have never seen a 1995 Mitsubishi Spyder Convertible around the state of MD. This car gets a lot of looks and inquiries as to model year as it is very rarely seen on the east coast. All wheels on this car are the chorme Mitsubishi wheels that came with the car. The air conditioner also works very well, but has been rarely used as we do not drive this car, since the 100k miles, except to get service maintenance or gas. I start the car to keep the NEW battery charged. This car also has the owners manual. I will be posting more pictures on 6/1/2010. The car will come with a full tank of premium fuel. On Jun-03-10 at 06:21:19 PDT, seller added the following information: I was unable to upload the balance of pictures showing the hood insulation, that looks new, all the stickers in the engine compartmnent, the door jambs and pics of the undercarriage of the car. The additional pictures I did upload show the guages operating with the engine running for 20 minutes. I run the engine to keep the new battery charged. On these cars, if the battery is not fully charged, the convertible top works very slow. The are a few more miles on the car, as I drove it about 5 miles to fill the tank with premium gasoline. When the auction is over, the buy can contact me and if you would like the car to have the oil and filter changed, I will take care of that, as it will add about 12 miles to the odometer.
