1998 Kia Sephia 5 speed manual Clean title Was on the road til yesterday, got a new car took it off, runs and drives but needs work to pass next inspection. If anything this is an excellent parts car or a car to drive into the ground until January. Runs Good, Clutch is good. Does not leak any fluids. Does not burn oil. The exhaust looks very good from front to back, as if it were replaced. Radiator looks like it is in good condition. Serpentine belt looks brand new and alternator looks as if it were replaced previously. Inspected til January 2011. New fuel pump installed by Midas. This car has 117500 mileage. I have owned this car for about 17,000 miles. The Bad Since replacing the fuel pump the check engine light has been going on and off, and it smells like gas vapors, when i fill it up past three quarters of a tank it leaks gas. Currently the engine light is off but last time i took it to auto zone to find out the engine light problem they said it was some sort of vapor sensor. Problems that i know of.... I am not a mechanic but this is what i see.. Emergency brake does not work. When you first start it the serpentine belt squeals for a second. Car has minor rust along doors but underneath looks better than most NY cars I've seen Driver side door only opens form the inside??? I have no clue how to fix it. I bought a new car and need this out of my drive way, I really don't care what it goes for, as long as you come get it if you win.
