1967 Oldsmobile 442 Convertible This is a real 442 convertible with a fresh restoration just completed. The car has an original motor detailed to look as it did the day it rolled out of the factory. This is an extremely rare original factory air conditioned convertible with everything replaced to make it blow ice cold. The car has a 4 speed with the shifter made for 442’s by Hurst. Originally this car had a console but the base was damaged and unusable but there are some out there used and would be an easy install. The dash has the tic- toc tach with gages, clock and tach all together. All new interior includes correct light blue dash pad, carpet, door panels and rear quarter panels, seat covers and padding, and a whole lot more. The body was painted the original white and I put the available light blue top for that year as my choice to bring the color combination the maximum eye appeal. When I got the car it had a white top. The blue pin stripe and new red line radials mounted on correct rally wheels really sets the car off and makes it get the compliments. All chrome was re-plated or replaced with correct replacement parts during the restoration. Power steering, power brakes, power top, tilt wheel, and am radio are some of the cars original equipment. The car’s original 400 motor was rebuilt along with the 4 speed transmission. The car has new exhaust brake and fuel lines, and gas tank. The car has original manifolds and mostly everything during the restoration was done to bring it back to stock appearance. The solid trunk has been detailed with a 5th redline tire and new wheel and new mat. Good luck bidding to get this stunning 442 which will be a great addition to anyone’s collection to show or drive.
