Vehicle Detail

1965 Chevy Impala SS, Clear TN Title, Solid Body Project-Roller Chassis. Please read all the way through, as there are A LOT of parts that go with this car! (Two other Impalas were scavenged for parts, one of them another SS.) Car is an original SS, NOT a Clone or Tribute car. Check the VIN. *** To Clarify, There is Nothing Wrong With The Title! I have already had inquiries about this. It is a Clear Tennessee Title in my name. The VIN is reflected correctly! The only oddity is that the year on the title shows 1966. (The state of Alaska screwed the year up, and Tennessee won't change it on the title.) Again, the Title is Clear, and Reflects the Correct 1965 VIN! *** Up for auction is my 1965 Chevrolet Impala SS. Car originally came with a 327 V8, 4 spd, and power windows. This is a Roller Chassis Project car. NO MOTOR OR TRANS INCLUDED, but A LOT of good extra parts go with the car. Read on, and check out the pics. Body- Extremely straight with very little putty. Quarters have been done along with rockers. Fenders and wheel wells are solid. Floor pans are solid as well. Only real rust-thru is in the trunk. (Trunk pan needs replacing.) Hood and trunk lid are fine. The pics were taken yesterday, and accurately depict the body's condition. Check my feedback. I don't BS anyone. Glass- All glass is there and in good condition, minus the front windshield, which is missing. There is also at least one complete set of extra door glass. Windows have been converted to manual vs. the original power. Parts came from a donor SS car, so the panels are correct. Interior- Complete blue SS interior seats and door panels from a donor SS car. Front buckets with complete SS center console with clock still intact. Seats are rough but complete. Center console is in great shape. (4 spd SS console) Have two complete dash inserts/gauge clusters, along with a third gauge cluster. Use one and sell the others! See pics for details. No headliner or carpet. Have all interior chrome trim and misc pieces, and then some! Trim- There is enough chrome trim to complete at least two Impalas, including an extra front bumper, headlight bezels, tail lights, mouldings, etc, etc, etc. THE FRONT GRILLE IS FLAWLESS!!! Extra front valance, too. Other- 12 bolt rear, drum brakes, two (2) 15" Chevy ralley wheels on the back axle, original driveshaft, trans crossmember, motor mounts, extra hood hinges, PS pump and steering gear box, extra complete steering column with steering wheel, complete spare core support, fan shroud, battery trays, etc, etc, etc. Please see pics for parts included, as I know I am forgetting some. Clear Tennessee Title- Interesting history here. Car was previously titled in Alaska, where it was mistakenly titled and registered as a 1966 Impala, thanks to the "66" in the VIN. Of course, the sixth digit in the VIN ; "5" in this case, designates the model year of 1965, but try telling that to the DMV. Anyway, when the car was titled in TN, the 1966 year carried over from Alaska. When I titled the car in my name, I brought the year discrepency to their attention, but was told that they couldn't do anything about that, so here you have it. A 1965 Chevy Impala SS with a clear TN title showing the correct VIN, but the year 1966. I only bring this up because no doubt some purist out there will scoff at this twist. Personally, I think it just adds to the car's history, and I do have all the original paper trail from Alaska in case anyone ever wanted to correct the year. Bottom line: CLEAR TITLE IN HAND!!! ;-) Shipping/delivery- Buyer is to arrange and pay for shipping, or is responsible for vehicle pick up. This is a roller chassis, so it will easily load on a trailer, wheel dolly, car hauler, etc. I will gladly assist with loading. Car is located in Clarksville, TN 37043, about 40 miles North West of Nashville. Vehicle must be picked up within 10 days of auction's end. Payment/Questions- A Non-Refundable Deposit of $500 via PayPal is due within 48 hours of auction's end. Remaining balance is due at time of vehicle pick up, or prior to any shipping company showing up at my door and trying to load the car. Cash or PayPal for final payment.
