Vehicle Detail
Real 71 roadrunner -- 383 -- heavyduty suspension -- power steering-- a/c car 1971 Plymouth Road Runner For your consideration a REAL 1971 Road Runner project. NO MOTOR OR TRANSMISSION! This vehicle has a fairly solid body, a few dings and some waves. But, has a nice driver quality body. It will need interior work... Although, the door panels and side panels are fairly nice..... Both front and rear seats need recovering....NEEDS CARPET. Passenger side front and rear floor pans are solid. Driver's side front and rear have quarter size rust through and some pinholes,, which would need to be patched or replaced...engine harness and all wiring still intact.....i have not had it long , so being as honest as i can be,,,all the work was done by previous owner and looks to be a decent driver quality mopar,,,it is a nice project and would not take much to make it road worthy.... Rocker panels, torque boxes, K-frame, torsion suspension and body mounts are very solid. One side of the trunk pan will need some work, has a hole. There's no gas tank, but the straps are in place. This car would make a pretty easy driver. But, would need a TOTAL RESTORATION for a show quality car. The car was an air conditioned car with all the air condition unit still in tact on the firewall...power steering car.... If you could find an old 4 - door air car with a good motor, you'd be right in business. It has 8 1/4 rear end. The doors are nice and shut well.... Rocker panels are nice, inner and outer. The body seems to be very nice with some bondo here and there....the paint is a good quality paint job... The front pan near the turn signals has some dents in it, but still looks okay... Take a good look at the pictures. This is not a bad old car, and is selling at LOW RESERVE! Thanks for your consideration. This car has a nice 383 hood. 150 mph speedometer and rally gauges.. The dash pad has a couple of cracks and would need to be replaced for show car. I've described the car as close as possible. Remember, if you're looking for a show car, this car will need a TOTAL RESTORATION! ........ sold as is / where is ,,,with no refund ...please ask questions and view in person......also must be of sound mind and have the ability to make rational decisions ....thanks and good luck
