THIS WAS THE LAST YEAR FOR THE BEETLE CONVERTIBLE. THE MOTOR IN THIS CAR WAS COMPLETELY REBUILT IN MAY OF 2009 AT 94135 MILES AT A TOTAL COST OF $3414 (detailed paperwork included). The fuel injected engine was replaced with a stock 1600 cc Carburator engine. It has loads of pep and is fun to drive! THE CLUTCH, BRAKES, SUSPENSION, WINDOWS, DOORS all seem wo work properly. Has a good sounding Kenwood CD/radio with removable face plate. Battery compartment and underside including pans free of rust. The top needs to be completed but it does come with A BRAND NEW TOP READY TO BE INSTALLED. The paint has normal wear and chips and spots so it is probably ready for a repainting but it does also look good as is. The windshield wiper motor needs to be rebuilr or replaced.
