I am selling my fathers 65 Buick Riviera. The car came from California to Texas. So you know it is super solid. Since 2001 there has been thousands spent on this car making it what you see here. Giant stack of receipts and supporting documents. The car has some performance work done but nothing over the top. The car looks good but it is not the best paint job. It was done about a year ago. The only area that could use some attention is the left rear quarter panel above the bumper. Please see the photos. All of the chrome and trim is there minus the two "Riviera" emblems on the sides. They are included but they are broken so they were not installed. The other chrome at the bottom of the rocker panels could be redone and the chrome on the bumpers is somewhat thin. Overall the car shows well and would be good as is or finish the restoration without too much work. The clamshell headlamps have an upgraded kit installed from Obsolete automotive. This will need to be adjusted to be functional. Full instructions and documents included. The interior of the car is beautiful condition with no major flaws to speak of. A couple of the buttons on the seats have come off but are included and could easily be re installed. There is also a hole in the drivers floor mat, not in the carpet. Free of rips, tears or stains. Radio was rebuilt and sounds good. Power antenna was replaced and works. Power windows work but need some help every now and then. Factory a/c setup is complete and hooked up but could use a charge from sitting. New wood trim for the whole interior is included but not installed. Basically every mechanical part has been replaced on the car since 2001. Rides real smooth and is a good cruiser at 70-75 mph. The car has been sitting and will require bowl gaskets on the carb. They are currently leaking. It will also need a new header gasket as it has an exhaust leak. (this will be included but not intalled) The front brakes are newer but need to be adjusted. The car can be driven in its current condition as I have put over 140 miles on it in the past year. However I would transport it until you could address the brakes and carburator.
