Original unrestored conditon...has typical rust see pictures, not too bad though..interior is in pretty fair shape,mice have not gotten into the car. ,headliner nice, seats ok,,,back panel above rear seat is sun rotted , body is not banged up too bad..just the spot on rear driver side fender ,,,see picture that needs attention...the rest of the car is pretty decent....bumpers and grill look quite nice yet...even has all 4 original hubcaps. The glass is good also,,,not cracked..the car was a 327, but the motor got swapped out many years ago for an old 350,,, so the 327 air cleaner and so forth are on the 350,,the original generator still is in use, and the original powerglide is in the car....please note that it does not shift out of 1st gear, but reverse works fine,,,I suspect a sticky shift valve, since the powerglide is pretty bulletproof.. I picked the car up from a gentleman whose grandpa was the original owner, so it basically is a one owner car...He was going to restore it , but did not have the time or funds....he always took the car out for a few drives each year just to run it..and said the transmission always worked fine , and suddendly wouldn't shift to 2nd after leaving it set awhile...The gas also smells old , but the motor runs pretty good. Odometer shows about 31,000 miles so you can guess it is 131,000 actual miles...This car isn't a basket case!!!,,,but could use a complete restoration to make it show quality, or just a little tinkering to drive it as it is...could use some better tires , since the ones on it are bias I bellieve...Please bid with confidence,,,I am not a Bullsh*t Seller, and I have set a low reserve price of $1500..If you have questions, please ask!!...I have tried to describe the car exactly as it is!! thanks..
