Vehicle Detail
Listing for my Brother - Call HIM directly for questions at 386-937-0750 This is a 1957 Chevrolet truck C3100 with a 1958 bed on it (super clean bed!). We got this truck a while ago (with bill of sale) with the intentions of putting a big block in it and using as a cruiser but the economy squashed that idea. The front end has already been converted over to A-frame suspension with disc brakes from a late model GM (Pontiac firebird). The rearend is from the same car and has been lowered, but can be put back to normal height by removing the blocks. Has some rust in the 'typical' spots for these trucks. None of it is beyond repair and this truck still has a lot of life left for the person(s) that are handy with metal work. Also, please note this truck is ALL metal - no fiberglass parts on it. The grille, inner fender wells and other misc parts also come with the truck, just not pictured. The only two things I know aren't available are the windshield and dash housing (rust killed it). The interior is pretty good, but does have some surface rust spots that will need sanded down and coated with POR-15 or your choice of rust preventative. Overall, it's a cool truck just needing a good home. It will need to be trailered/towed from current location (Interlachen, FL 32148). We're about 1.5 miles off of Hwy 20. Sold as-is with no warranties expressed or implied - it's a project, folks. No motor or transmission (put your own 454/700R4 in it like we were going to do). Good luck! ** Truck is being offered with a Florida Bill of Sale only. You will be able to apply for and receive a reconstructed title with no problems. You can meet the Chief of Police when you come and he will show you there are no VIN issues with this truck and the DMV record is clean since we do not have the original title. We're Country here and that's the way we would want it - it's the right thing to do.
