Vehicle Detail
1993 Cobra Mustang, #3841, black with grey leather interior. 88000 miles, with Carfax odometer discrepancy: registered 5-6-95 with 27,209 then 5-17-95 with 8,792 then 4-18-97 with 53,833. It looks like typo, but still there. I rescued this cobra as it was sitting and needing lots of attention. I replaced the rusted headers with Motorsport, and H-pipe with a stocker with cat.s. The grocery-getter mufflers make it disgustingly quiet. The rear brakes have a new R rotor and new pads on L and R. The front brakes are good, and all brakes were bled. The power steering whines, and it needs a new rack and pinion unit. The engine runs good, and strong. It also appears to be stock, not even a K&N filter. The trans. shifts smooth, and the clutch feels good. It leaks oil from valve covers and possibly rear main seal. It has no coolant leaks, or any other leaks. Cobra appears to be mostly stock. It has subframe connectors. It may have gears in the rearend. The AC blows cold. The interior is in good condition, other than driver's seat( it needs upholstery work and has broken brackets). The carpet is somewhat dirty in the interior and the hatch area. The driver's Cobra floormat has holes in it. The ashtray cover is broken and the latch for console storage is broken. It has power driver's seat. No sunroof. No block heater. It has cruise control (not sure if it is factory, or not; it looks strange but works). It has factory CD that works, but one speaker comes on then off. The power windows work. The power mirrors work. The interior light does not come on when driver door is open, but works with passenger door and hatch. The door lock acuators do not work. I have replaced door pins and bushings, so doors open and close perfect. The driver's door weatherstripping is shot. The wheels are all 17x9, with brand new 245/40/17 on front, and brand new 275/40/17 BFG g-force sport tires. The car has rust underneath, but minor. It had rust over all wheels. I ground it off, and painted to avoid further rust. I did not use any mud or patch panels to hide any rust. The hatch also has rust, in the normal areas. This Cobra is very straight! 1993cobra.com shows only 1079 with grey leather. The front and rear spoilers are good. The Cobra wing has minor cracks. I installed a new 12 pc. front light kit, and new foglights. The rear lights are good. The driver's side has lost the lines on the taillight assy. The windshield has 2 chips in it and pits. I have the wiper arms and blades. I am willing to deliver this car within 300-mile radius for no charge. The 93 Cobra sells itself, and this is a GREAT car. If you have any ? please call 515 201 4326 or email. Thank you, TR On May-29-10 at 08:37:43 PDT, seller added the following information: I have gotten a lot of calls about how much rust. I posted some photos of when I got the car before I did touch up. Delivery will be on open car trailer. Also found door lock actuators do not work. Keep those calls coming. Thank you, TR
