Vehicle Detail

You are bidding on a very nice, frame up restored WWII '44 Willys MB military jeep. Everything from the radiator and engine to the rear end has been either rebuilt, refurbished and/or brought up to date. All canvas is included including the top, seat covers, hip pads, windshield and lamp covers and even half side doors. Five original combat rims with all new tires and tubes are on this jeep. Electrical system has been converted to 12 volts, but all components look original and a brand new battery is included. Pioneer tools, tire pump, engine crank and jack are included also as well as a complete set of manuals. There is zero rust anywhere on the jeep and it has been kept indoors since it was restored. The undercarriage is as clean as the top side. The jeep is parade, show and re-enactment ready. If you have any questions whatsoever regarding the jeep, please do not hesitate to e-mail me. Mileage: 00592 (less than 600 since rebuild) Payment: Minimum deposit of $500 (US funds) within 48 hours of auction close. Balance due within 7 days of auction close. All funds shall clear bank before jeep will be released to buyer. Added 5-25 response to question being asked.: The serial and engine block #'s are the same, which is MB360845. The glove box tags are reproductions and the #'s have not yet been stamped on the ID tag. Shipping: Buyer is responsible for arranging shipping and pickup of vehicle. Item location: Houston, TX (immediate area) I am listing this for a friend. If you have any questions or wanting more information, I will respond within 24 hours of your inquiry On May-28-10 at 08:59:32 PDT, seller added the following information: Added 5-28-10 There has been several questions about the restoration as it relates to the MB: I have talked to the friend whom I am listing this for. #1 Engine and drive train are in great shape. Engine starts immediatly. #2 Misc. Wiring- My goof- It has a a Reproduction MB wiring harness from a place in Maine. I put up pictures I had taken earlier before I realized he had taken off a couple misc. wires that where used for an electric heater and transformer to run Christmas lights this past year for a parade. Those have been removed. With the exception of the 12 volt battery , lamps and the 6 volt generator that has been converted to 12 volt the the electrical system is as it would have been in 1944. #3 Trailer Socket: yes and it works. I will be listing his trailer next week that he sometime that he pulls behind the Jeep. Good Luck!
