The range is about 20 miles and will charge fully overnight using regular house corrent. You can use any outlet to recharge this car simply by plugging it in to the normal wall socket. There is NO warranty with this car, but I can tell you that Pete has just checked it over again for me to ensure a reliable car for the next owner. The batteries have been replaced in September 2008. They are Trojan Marine RV Deep Cycle batteries and are readily available.
