My 2004 Diesel Passat gets GREAT fuel mileage! I have added many extras. Duel Seat Heaters, Michelin HydroEdge Tires ( 90,000 Mile Tires) K&N Air Filter,Sirius Radio Hook-Up, Medium Tinted Windows. The Oil is changed every 5,000 Miles and I only use Mobil 1 Synthetic Oil. The Transmission Oil and Filter were just changed about 3,000 miles ago and filled with Synthetic Transmission Oil. My Passat has NEVER been smoked in NOR has it been in an accident. If you're in the market for a dependable vehicle that should go 300,000 Miles, and is LOW Maintence then this vehicle is for you.
