You are bidding on an used `1995 ford escort, four door, 5 speed transmission, driven daily (approximately 100 miles a day) with no problems. It gets about 35 miles a gallon on the highway. The engine runs good and the clutch and transmission shift smoothly. There are no tears or holes in the enterior, but the cloth seats show signs of wear. The radio is am/fm with a cd player. Both work good. This car never let me down and I would not be afraid to drive it a distance. It is a 1.9 liter 4 cylinder engine. The new Jersey inspection is good until January 2011. The negatives about this car is that it does have 207000 miles, the clear coat has peeled off the top and spots on the hood (see pictures) and the back up lights do not work. The backup switch is bad, it could be replaced by a toggle switch and be legal. I have a clear title for this car. This car has a solid body, no rust, the flaws are where the clear coat pelled. The tires have about the tread left. The spare is a donut, do not know how good. The jack is operational and is the original for this car.
