This beauty started life as a 1967 Mustang GTA Convertible and was restored/converted to a 1968 Shelby Mustang GT350 Convertible in 1989. After the restoration/conversion it has been in storage for the past 20 years. The engine and trans have not been removed and could use detailing. All work has been done by professional mechanics. I've owned a lot of great cars in my life but none have turned more heads and started more conversations with total strangers than this one. Gas Pump Cobra Oval Air Cleaner, Cobra Intake Manifold, & Cobra Valve Covers Automatic Transmission Power Steering A/C System Power Front Disc Brakes w/SSBC Lifetime Stainless Steel 4 Piston Calipers New Rotors One button Automatic Convertible Power Top New Convertible Top w/Split Glass Rear Window Tonneau Cover Shelby Steering Wheel Deluxe Interior w/Brushed Aluminum Finish & Center Console Padded Shelby Roll Bar New front & Rear Bumpers All New Suspension w/ Stiffer Shelby Front Springs, KYB shocks Heavy Duty Front and Rear Anti Sway Bars Monte Carlo Bar, Export Brace & Shelby Traction Bars Tru Spoke Wire Wheels w/Wing Spinners & Shelby Emblem Lots of original paperwork- Owners Manual, Warranty Cards, Parts & Work Receipts, Etc. After it came out of storage, the following work has been preformed over the past few months: New exhaust. Holley 750 Double Pumper Carburetor. New battery & replacement of battery cable ends. Replaced fuel tank, sending unit, seal and ring kit, & fuel line from tank to fuel pump. New fuel fill hose from nozzle to tank, & replaced fuel filter. New rear brake lines from wheel cylinders to master cylinder. Removed rear diff and resealed carrier and replaced pinion seal. Changed coolant & trans fluid, oil and filter (2 times), sparkplugs, points and condenser. Turned rotors & rear brake drums. Runs great!
