1966 Pontiac GTO Convertible Matching numbers, Date Coded and Documented 4-Speed Convertible. Documentation includes the original broadcast sheet, copy of the original window sticker, and Pontiac Historical Services (PHS) data. The car was built the 3rd week of May, 1966 in Baltimore. Paint was done 11 years ago in original factory color of Candlelite Cream along with new Black Convertible top. The undercarriage is as clean as the engine compartment. The power convertible top is new and works as it should. The interior is completely original with black bucket seats in excellent condition. Engine compartment is stunning and was restored to original factory condition with every attention to detail. All chrome, including bumpers, is original and in excellent condition. It retains its original body panels. An obviously well cared for car before the restoration. It has the original matching numbers date coded 4-speed wide ratio manual transmission. Original rear differential is a 3.55 posi-traction which is correct for for a non air conditioned car. Original matching numbers 389 ID 4-barrel with 335HP. Original matching numbers carburetor and distributer and more. It runs and drives excellent as it should. The new owner will be very happy with this car. I am listing this vehicle for a close friend who has taken a tremendous loss in his resturant business due to the catastropic oil spill in the Gulf Of Mexico.
