The condition of this car is exceptional......NEAR MINT BRICK... I bought this 240 just over 2 years ago from MAROONE VOLVO in delray....it was a new car trade in.....deal said car was owned by retired doctor and his wife and only driven while they were down here for the winter, hence the low miles....it had @ 75K when I bought it. I have use it locally, a couple of days a week, to and from my office which is a 12 mile commute...on superbowl sunday this past February the odometer quit...started getting squirrley at Christmastime, jumping up and down, sticking, and then it just quit.....from my research, this is a typical 240 issue....odometers go between 80-90k..... The BAD first.. + a new hairline crack across top of the dash + dash cracks around radio + beginning a puncture in drivers seat...can't see it pictures, very tiny + tires are about 50% The GOOD + body is ridiculously nice......hard and straight as a arrow..no rust, this car is near MINT + seats, hard shell head liner, carpets clean + original paint still buffs to shine.... + everything works, except the odometer..... + cold air + electric windows + engine, transmission smooth and quite and runs beautifully at 5 or 85 + great gas mileage, burns no oil + this 240 is rock solid, if you are a serious volvo person, you will be love this car This is a simple automobile, open the hood and it looks like there's hardly anything in the engine compartment....it will run, and run and run and run. I saw the car from the street out front of Maroone Volvo....it was that nice, that I noticed it from that far away...I bought that day and it has been nothing short of perfect. I love cars and I am rolling the dice, I simply want something 'new'. I drove this car into a Volvo specialty dealer in Miami about a couple of weeks ago. The owner, a great guy around my age, 57. say's "HOW MUCH?....."I want your car"......." 'it's one of the nicest I've seen in years".....'the best car Volvo ever made".....I told him I was putting up on Ebay and if it didn't go, I'd trade with him for a V-70 wagon.. I will answer any questions and offer here, ONE GREAT CAR........THIS CAR IS THE BRICK..
