Up for auction is a 2005 Ford Explorer Sport Trac XLT in excellent condition inside and out. It is nicely equipped with dark metallic blue/light metallic blue custom paint, 18" aluminum wheels, leather interior, a Truxedo soft tonneau and aluminum running boards. I have owned this truck for two years and am selling because I bought a new Sport Trac Adrenalin on Ebay(last pic). This truck has been a very reliable vehicle combining the comfort of an Explorer with the utility of a pickup, plus a fuel efficient 4.0 V6 engine and a sporty aftermarket dual exhaust. The exterior is nearly mint with the exception of 2-3 miniscule rock chips on the hood and the paint really shines- I get many compliments. The 18" Voxx wheels are perfect except for one small curb rash on the right front. These wheels and the Nexen 255/55R18 tires were purchased at 80K miles and have better than 60% tread remaining. I also added the aluminum running boards and the Truxedo tonneau cover. The truck also has the factory bed extender which allows you to carry longer cargo and a class III trailer hitch. The interior is in good shape- two tone tan leather, soft removable console bag and a factory 6- disc CD changer. There is some mild wear on the seats and what appears to be a small burn on the left upper passenger seat(see photo),but no rips or tears. It is a non-smokers vehicle. The A/C blows ice cold, great for the summer. The previous very proud but slightly overzealous owner applied the cloth Ford and Sport Trac emblems to the headrests- I chose to leave them on as they may leave residue if removed. This truck runs great, tracks straight and shines like new. It was in a minor accident last year- I was rear ended by an old Suburban, who pushed me into a Saturn Vue-no airbag deployment. The front bumper cover and rear bumper cover were damaged, so they were replaced and repainted . While it was in the shop I had the rear quarters painted as well due to some rock chips and scratches acquired by the previous owner. I have posted photos of the minor damage which was fixed and have receipts for the $1800 repair. The paint matches perfectly and the truck looks better than when I bought it. Everything on the vehicle works but the cruise control, which I chose not to fix since I only use the truck in Key West. I noticed last month that the brake pedal felt a little squishy on occasion and the local Ford dealer recommended a new master cylinder- it was done, there are no fluid leaks and all pads are good. I have clear Florida title and the truck may be picked up in Key West 33040 or I can take it to our winter home in Fort Lauderdale, 33029. Shipping can be arranged at the winner's expense.
