Up for auction is this "fresh from the vault" 1984 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royal Brougham edition, 60k original miles. was in heated garage its entire life spent the last 10 years in storage. Its a nice sunday cruiser, starts right up every time, its a pleasure to drive. Good candidate for a custom ride, or just to take the kiddies for ice cream on a friday night. Engine: Original, unmodified, oldsmobile 307 V8, no smoke or noises, runs like a top. even has the original date stamps from the factory on the valve covers. all of the a/c components are present, just needs a little charge, there is still some refridgerant in the system, just not enough to be ice cold. I average between 18 and 20 MPG! fresh oil change, plugs, fuel filter, transmission service done within the last 500 miles. Interior: Gray velour seats in nice shape no rips, dash is clean and has no cracks, side plastics a little sun faded like most 80's gms. even has the original gm am/fm radio- and it works great! Exterior: Glossy Paint, nice vinyl top. No rot anywhere! slight surface rust at the base of vinyl top on passenger side. (see pic) I put a little rust converter on it to keep it from spreading. Paint looks great from 20 feet, up close there are a few scratches on the hood, and some deep scratches on the trunk lid from where someone had stacked boxes on the car during storage. some of them may buff out. Overall its a great car, but i have too many cars and this one has to go. Dont miss this chance to own one of GM's last great RWD V8 cars! Happy Bidding!!
