Ladies and Gentlemen--GM--Buick Lovers-- LQQK!! First time offered on Ebay--What an Opportunity to own a One-of-a-Kind Buick Convertible at an incredible price. A rare garage find!! Just in time for convertible cruising!! Up for auction is a gorgeous 1975 Buick LeSabre Custom Convertible with only 51k original miles. I bought this rare car from the original owner's son who gave me a pile of documentation on it including the original sales receipt, which is now organized in a 3-ring notebook. The maintenance records for this vehicle and other papers confirm that the low mileage is correct. 1975 was the final year for the LeSabre Custom Convertible as just over 5300 examples rolled off the assembly line. I've heard that only a handful of these convertibles were produced with paint code 29 (Midnight Blue Metallic). Here's just a partial list of its options and what's been done since I found this beautiful convertible in a garage: It's equipped with all of its original power train, the 455 cubic inch 4-barrel V8 engine, backed-up with a Turbo-400 automatic transmission and stock GM rear. It has the original set of GM keys as well as a spare set of keys. It has power steering, power disc brakes, power top, cold A/C, AM/FM (8-track) stereo radio, & the original top boot. An all new complete 'Flowmaster 50 Series Delta Flow' dual exhaust system from front to rear was installed last month with "H" pipe. All components are perfectly fitted and custom welded (no clamps are ever used by Specialty Exhaust Systems of Md). A complete compression test was done on the engine and all cylinder readings were excellent (150+). The original 4-barrel Quadrajet carburetor was rebuilt to factory specs; together with a major tune up including new plugs, new cap/rotor and a new adjustable vacuum advance for the HEI ignition. The air conditioning system was inspected, charged and a new compressor relay was installed. It blows cold at all fan speeds. All of the brake system is in excellent condition including master cylinder, brake hoses, lines, brake booster etc. New valve cover gaskets, fan belts, filters and a new battery were installed. The tires have < 2000 miles. The AM/FM 8-track radio works well for its age. A complete jack assembly and a full size matching spare are included. It appears that a new convertible top was installed a couple of years ago with a new glass window. The top pinch rail pads are in excellent condition. The convertible mechanism is called a 'scissor top' because it folds inward on itself instead of straight back. The top was thoroghly inspected by a local upholstery shop, adjusted for fit and all 'scissor' pivot points were greased with lubricant. The top works great and should last for years. There are no rips or tears. The original top boot is in good condition. A fiberglass parade boot is available from Hydro-E-Lectric Corp. www.hydroe.com The original upholstery is in very good condition. The carpet and dash are in good condition. All the glass and wheel well mouldings are in excellent condition with a brilliant shine. All of the bright work on this car looks very good. The rear filler panels are not cracked and in excellent condition. The horns, wipers, lights, turn signals, back up lights, brake lights, interior courtesy lights etc. work as new. Highly detailed trunk/rust free compartment and a 3-ring notebook with all the documentation & keys is included. It has always been garaged and appears to have been very well maintained. Photos cannot capture the true beauty of this !WOW! convertible (Dark Blue Metallic Paint/White Interior/White Top). When was the last time you saw one of these at a car show? Looking along the contour lines of the car, it appears to have all of its original panels and there's no evidence of any accident damage. The floor pans and frame rails appear to be in good condition. It was inspected by an ASE mechanic and all mechanical components were found to be in excellent condition (photos of the repair work are included in the notebook). There are no leaks and the engine does not smoke or burn any oil. I would not hesitate to drive this car anywhere. In my opinion, this car is a great driver, maybe not quite a show car yet but a true survivor and trophy winner. It has a clear title. Please come see and drive it for yourself!! NO DISAPPOINTMENTS! If you've been waiting for a one-of-a-kind Buick convertible to come along without the price tag of a Buick Stage 1, then don’t let this one get away; avoid disappointment and future regret. This is a "Low Reserve" auction. Check my Ebay history; I have strived to maintain a 100% positive feedback rating over the years. I’m not an expert on the value or condition of these vehicles, and therefore, my opinion of a vehicle may not be the same as yours. This car is not perfect and I don't claim it to be. I suggest serious bidders come examine this Buick, or have someone come and inspect it to make sure you know what you are bidding on before you bid. A commercial type lift is available, if requested. Feel free to request as many other photos as needed. Also, a list of finance companies, transport companies, and insurance agencies can be provided. Also, inspection services with a detailed report are available through www.cars-on-line.com They will provide you with a very thorough inspection report. I am not a dealer, this is just a hobby, so feel free to ask any questions and any inspection is always welcome. It's a good idea to get an estimate of the transport cost ahead of time and that can be obtained from www.autotransport.com. I've recently used FedEx Auto Transport and they are great. Since this car is a convertible, I do recommend an enclosed trailer. Due to some recent scams involving some shady transporters, I will make sure that the transporter you select is the same company (person) who physically picks up the car. Also, I will take and send you photos of the transport rig, its license plate/driver and the truck being loaded, including its securement and placement on or within the rig for your piece of mind. NOBODY DOES ALL THAT!! Should you have any questions about this vehicle, just send me an email with your name and phone number and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Foreign bidders are always welcome! VEHICLE TERMS: The car is SOLD AS-IS, with no guarantee/warranty either expressed or implied. Successful bidder pays $1000 down payment (PayPal is preferred) for the vehicle within 48 hours of bid close and should make arrangements to pick up the car within 2 weeks of auction close. Seller releases all responsibility for the car upon receipt of payment from bidder. Buyer will assume all responsibility for said vehicle, including but not limited to liability. This Buick is for sale locally and the seller has the right to end this auction early.
