Basic Description and Features 1995 BMW 318i Convertible 2-door 124,700 4 cylinder engine Automatic Transmission Tan interior with bucket seats 2nd owner No accidents, clean title VIN – WBABK6327SED17265 Background I purchased this car in April 2008 from a dealer in Naples Florida. I flew down to Florida in early May of 2008 and drove it home to PA. The car was a one owner local trade in. I believe this car has spent its entire life in Florida until I brought it to PA where it has been garage kept since and only driven in warm weather. Condition Body The body is in very good condition. Red Paint is in overall great condition and has a real nice shine. It has never seen snow/salt! There are no door dings on either side but there are a few paint chips (from road stones) here and there that are really not very noticeable unless you are looking for them. There is a small dent on the driver’s side front fender where the fender flares out (not very noticeable and no paint damage). Top The canvas top is in like new condition with no tears or holes. The rear window is a little foggy (as most plastic windows are) and the trim around the window is starting to peel away but has no effect on sealing out water. Interior Tan Leather seats are in very good condition with no tears or holes. The plastic piece that covers where the back seat belts enter is cracked but has no effect on the belts. Carpet in the front does show some wear but is in good condition. Back seat carpet looks like new. The only real flaw with the interior is the leather covering the driver’s side door is starting to come loose. Everything works like it should. Recently installed AM/FM CD player with USB and MP3 jacks. Engine / Drive train The 4 cylinder engine runs very strong and gets great gas mileage. It does not appear to burn or leak oil. The transmission shifts smoothly with no grinding sounds of any kind. It will need the right rear wheel bearing replaced as you can hear a slight humming sound. Suspension / Brakes / Wheels The brakes feel great and did pass the PA safety inspection in April 2009. The original BMW wheels are in good condition with tires that have 80-90% tread on them. The car does ride nice but needs both lower ball joint replaced and could also use a new set of shocks on the rear. (The car failed PA inspection in April 2009 because of the ball joints). Note: I do recommend replacing the ball joints prior to any lengthy drives. Test Drives The car is currently not registered or insured so I cannot offer test drives on the public roads but you are more than welcome to come view the car, start it and move it around on my drive. Terms of Sale Payment A $300 deposit is required within 24 hours of the auction end. This is a deposit and is not refundable. PayPal will work best for this. I will only accept cash or a bank cashier’s check for the balance. The car must be paid for in full within 10 days of auction end unless you make prior arrangements. If this does not happen, you forfeit the deposit and the car will be relisted. You must pick up or ship the car within 20 days of the end of the auction. Title I am the legal owner of this car. I have the title, and there are no liens on it. The title will be signed over only after the payment has been made. Shipping / Delivery Must be paid for in full before it will be shipped. If shipping the car, it's up to you to make the arrangements. Shipper must be reputable, insured, and will be the one liable for any damage during transport. Misc Sold As-Is. No warranty stated or implied. You are expected to inspect the car, as well as ask any questions prior to placing a bid. I have done my best to provide an accurate description, but it is still up to you to judge for yourself.
