On a 1 to 100 scale this car is a 98.6. We recently acquired the car from a 27 year owner, and have driven it for the last couple of months and have loved it. In my reverie, I saw my wife cruising with me to California, up the 101 with her hair blowing in breeze, hoping for a second honeymoon in the Redwoods in a s;eeping bag, sipping Boone's Farm strawberry wine and maybe getting her to have a dip in the hot springs and even a smoke... and BAM!, reality struck and I realized I wasn't 18 anymore ... but if you can afford a toy in exceptional condition with low, low miles, only 68,092 original miles, British racing green, camel top, excellent condition and mechanically perfect, well cared for, garaged (always), tonneau cover & boot consider this car. The original upholstery was vinyl so it was redone in a sueded buff cloth for increased comfort. This sporty machine touts the 1493 cc engine. There are no tears in the carpeting, no tears in the seats and no cracks on the dashboard. It is hard to find a classic vehicle that has never been compromised by the elements and is rust free. There are two or three very small rock chips on the hood and the car was repainted several years ago - original color. The top is a beige crushed vinyl and a 2" tear was mended (sewn). Depending on where you want to ship the car it should run you $300 to $500 (contintental United States), but I suggest that you fly in to Phoenix and drive it back and enjoy the weather and the car and let the sun shine in.
