1981 Z-28 CAMARO 72,700 original miles!!!! I bought this Z with intention to drive while I got my Monte on the road. Yet, here we are. 1981 Z-28 , for the most part all original. The tires are 5 years old but, still have the nipples on some of the tires. they were put on at Discount Tire 400 miles ago in 2005. It is a t-top car with the original bags they slide into also going. Factory honey comb wheels that are in perfect shape. The engine seems to run great. Trany shifts on time and will even catch that beautiful second gear! The entire engine compartment is original except for the air filter and the battery which are both new. The brakes seemed good, except for the right rear might have a leaking wheel cyl., which I will take a look at before selling. All glass in very good shape. windows are manual. Interior is in ok shape. Seats are perfect for 30 years old, no tears etc.. Headliner needs to be replaced or just have the spots that came loose reinstalled. Carpet not in the best of shape but what do you expect for 30yrs old. Dash has two smaller than some cracks. No radio, factory hole still there(not cut out)2 rear pioneer 6 x 9 speakers in place. The speaker package tray is also a little worn. Tilt wheel, ac, ps, disc in front. The exhaust has been redone from the manifolds back with aluminized pipe , 2 converters, 2 flowmasters and tail pipes behind the rear tires. Some new parts installed include battery, air filter. New parts not installed- door rubbers, window felt trim, black headlight buckets, front bumper bra.(that are all included with the car to the winning bidder). Also has a ten bolt posi rear end, not sure of gear. Car runs and sounds great. As you can tell, the paint needs some love. You can still ride with pride cause the Z is very cool!
