Extended warranties are available. There are no known mechanical issues, the only two things that may be of concern is that the CD changer plays periodically sometimes it skips out. The other thing is the passenger mirror makes a noise when you adjust it. Other than those two things the car is drives great smooth and quiet as you would expect from a Lexus.
