Vehicle Detail
The Trans Am is unfortunatly for sale, job change has made my priorities change and the car is getting the boot. I bought the car about 5 years ago & have been slowly fixing all the things that need attention. After a few days of driving the car it developed a deep knock so it got a transplant shortly after that. T.A. now has a 383, carburated ,can obtain original TPI if someone wants for extra charge. Engine block is still the original equipment but has been rebuilt: 383 stroker Scat 9000 crank, rotating assy. balanced, Hyperutectic flat top pistons, aftermarket 5.7"rod w/ ARP bolts, Vortec heads with light bowl blending, pocket portet & intake runner cross section increased w/new valves, beehive spring/LS1 retainers, Steel roller rockers 1.6,screwin studs 7/16, hardened .080 wall pushrods,ZZ4 hydralic roller cam. Intake is a airgap style dual plane w/750 vac. sec./proform center section,60,000 volt aftermarket distibutor. Confesion:Have takin car to track once just to see 12.92 @107mph Exhaust has Headman shorties w/customized headman Y-pipe, has 3.5" dump under pass side, flowmaster muff. The rest of the drivetrain is stock 3.23 rear, 700R4 no stall (billit servo cause I like to feel the gears!) New Nitto radials on the rear but could use some new front ones. Fuel system is stock except a BG bypass regulator w/guage. Interior is nice except headliner is falling & plastic trim piece on rear hatch is missing This car is a great everyday driver or with some minor changes could make it really fast, decent sleeper now idles @ 600rpm w/no lope and pretty much hooks with the Nitto's Dont hesitate to ask questions!:) In my opinion the rear spoiler needs replaced but someone might be able to fix it !? All the body panels on the car still have VIN stickers intacked. Car has had some painting but appears to have all original panels.
