Up for auction is a 1974 Volkswagen Standard Beetle. This car is in excellent shape, with no rust. Solid body, floors and heater channels. This is an original Ontario car that has been restored by the previous owner. All body work is complete, all steel fenders with new paint and clear coat, new carpets, headliner, and tires. The car runs and drives great. It has a 1600cc dual port engine, Solex carburetor, with a 4 speed manual transmission. The Beetle recently passed an Ontario safety check, and would require nothing to certify. The engine has some minnor oil leaks, and could use a tune up. The passenger seat has a small mark, but easily repaired with new seat covers. This car has been stored over the winters, and makes a fun summer car. Very cheap on gas and insurance.
