Vehicle Detail
For Sale 1952 MG TD - Left-hand drive – Cute car just waiting for someone to complete its restoration. Partially restored in 2002, sitting in garage for a long while. All parts were removed from the frame except the engine. Frame cleaned and painted, professionally re-wired, and parts repainted a few years ago. XPEG Engine Transmission parts that needed replacing were bought from a professor at Florida State in Tallahassee. Apple Hydraulics did the shocks. O’Connor rebuilt the Webber dual carburetors – they need tuning. Speedometer and tachometer have both been redone – don’t remember the name of the company I sent them off to – maybe in the NE somewhere. Replaced at the partial restoration: Seats – new tan leather Carpet – black Wood – all replaced Top – was new but not totally installed New tonneau – still in the package Clutch plate, fuel pump, rotor, spark plug wires, thermostat, starter New side curtains have been installed and used. Steering wheel, gear shift, transmission cowl, all interior door and panel trim new. New tires but wire wheels are out of tune. Brakes rebuilt/replaced All parts are present except the wiper motor. Chrome parts mostly free of dents but need re-chroming. Dash wood redone. Battery is dead. Body tub needs shimming in the back so that doors fit better. Running board rubber/aluminum trim pieces need to be put back on Car ran just fine last time I started it. Extra Parts Clutch plate – needs cleaning up Heater – never installed Transparent sun visors still in box and plastic Assorted nuts and bolts, manuals. Wood pieces Etc.On May-16-10 at 12:11:46 PDT, seller added the following information: 1952 MG TD - Left-hand drive – Cute car just waiting for someone to complete its restoration.
