Vehicle Detail
Hubby and I are stepping outta the rat-race and selling it all...piece by piece. Lucky for buyers...it's going at rock-bottom, dirt cheap prices! Here's just another item I've likely had for YEARS, and now am parting with. The list goes on and on and on. Keep on the L@@k out! The deals are to be continued! : ) On the auction block today!! I really never thought we'd be placing our beautiful Beamer on the block, but here she goes! We've had her for about a year and a half now, and she has always been a smooth running car; she'll really haul @ss! She runs like a Dream, smooth and strong and comfortable. You'll feel like you're a celebrity riding in your own personal limo when you're cruising around in this luxury town car. Everything works on her, minus a few easy fixes (I'll be sure and point them out below). She was just inspected last month and her tags are current; paid up to September of this year. All Owner's Manuals and Instruction User's Booklets are there in a handy and organized tri-fold leather style binder. This car features a properly functioning, No-Leak Sunroof; which adds even more fun to this ride. She comes fitted with custom low profile wheels and good tires...along with a spare tucked away neatly in the very clean trunk. And...she has privacy by-way of the tinted windows (tinted within the law...not too dark, just dark enough) along the side windows, and the limousine tint on the back glass. As well, for the skiers in the family--the adventurous type--this Beamer has a compartment in the backseat that tunnels through to the trunk, which allows room for your skis to be stowed neatly and securely while you make your way to the next ski resort. It comes equipped with all-wheel disc brakes, and automatic or elective skid control...all wheel traction control stabilizer. Believe me, it really comes in handy when the roads are wet...slick, and it's snowing and/or icy. Better to be safe, than sorry...I always say! : ) Also in the trunk, is the remains of a CD player that is no longer there...sorry. The AM/FM Stereo Cassette works great, has three bands...including a worldwide all weather band frequency radio, including NOAH, to let you know when severe storms threaten you or your family. The seats....they are soooo comfy, and feature automatic positioning with 3 different positions. There are really so many features to this car, it's hard to remember everything. So...if you have any questions, or feel I may have left something out, please feel free to speak your mind or ask away. More good news...! The left & right, upper and lower control arms were just replaced by Tim's German Auto...right here in FW. That amounted to $1,000.00, but she now runs smoother than ever! Also, Ms. Beamer has a brand new Fuel Pump, and had an oil change just last month...also by Tim's German Auto. Now...there are a few things I feel I must point out, though none have anything to do with how the car runs or drives. For starters, the AC will need a new clutch, though it isn't very hard to replace if you know what you're doing. Hubby was going to do it--he's a seasoned mechanic--but we simply don't have the time; we're down to the wire. Also, there are a few 'not so shiny' areas on the front hood (see pics for best description), though that just means that those few areas don't shine quite as much like glass, like the rest of the car. I must also point out that the armrest on the driver's side shows a bit of wear, but is not ripped or tearing at all. The passenger's side arm rest is in better condition, but still shows some wear too. All in all....this car gets compliments on how CLEAN she is almost everywhere we go. She has been garage kept since we've owned her; well maintaned and loved...as all good cars should. Oh, and...one more thing, we had a slight bump from a little Kia type car last year, it did only a little scuffing to our bumper (see pics) and we had to replace the right rear tail light, BUT...you should've seen the other car! One thing about BMW, they make very strong, sturdy, well-built cars! The only reason we're selling is because we are liquidating our assets. Too bad this world we live in doesn't so easily leave time for the simpler things in life. In our case, we've decided to make a few sacrifices to simplify and ease into a more 'passive' lifestyle. Oh well...our loss is your gain. : ) Because I am a former PACK-RAT, there is MUCH...Much...much more to come. Happy Bidding, and...Good luck!
