Vehicle Detail
Hello fellow eBayers you are viewing a No Reserve auction for my 1989 911 turbo (930s) factory built M505 slantnose cabriolet. This is one of the rarest production Porsches ever produced. Total production was only 41 and only 7 were made for the United States. This rare car was originally owned by a well known public figure/car collector. It has been kept in immaculate condition from day one. This fine example has a clean Carfax and Zero stories. The car was ordered with no expenses spared (every tasteful option) and a window sticker price at over three times what the standard 930 cars had. The M505 cars have been predicted to break into six figure $ territory when the next collector car peak comes around again. This is the rarest M505 there is and with the most desirable options. Please take note that most all so called slantnose cars out there are custom conversions. This is an authentic factory built slantnose. I have pictured and will provide the Porsche Certificate of Authenticity to back it up. I am not a car dealer. I am a doctor so if I miss anything please email me I will be happy to answer you. Body: The car has No dents, dings, or paint damage of any kind. The factory Gaurds Red paint shines as if it were wet. Not much to say here. I don't like to use the word perfect but.... Interior: Barely broken in and basically flawless. Its distinguishing options are dual power and heated leather sport seats, climate control, windshield electric defrost, factory security system, and hands-free full power convertible top. I purchased the car with an aftermarket Momo steering wheel so I went to my local Porsche dealer and bought a new 1989 turbo steering wheel for $900! At the time I was unaware it wasn't correct for the M505 slantnose (neither was the dealer). The found out that the correct M505 wheel is available from Pelican parts and Performance Products listed as the "930s steering wheel" for around $400 Motor: You are in for a treat! This 930 fires up with no smoke! and runs like no other 930 I have ever owned (and I have had a few and driven a few more than that!). It is super tight, responsive, and especially strong! Transmission: Yes, this is the holy grail. The one year only (for 930 cars) super smooth hydraulic clutch 5spd G50. The quick and precise shifting unit all other 930 owners salivate over! It shifts and works as perfectly as it should. The clutch engages perfectly with no chatter or issues of any kind. Wheels and Tires: The car was fitted with very expensive and attractive Kinesis 3 piece 18" wheels to freshen up the car and to show off its unbelievable stopping late model twin turbo Big Red brakes. It stops as good as it goes! Convertible Top: Its the original and in perfect shape with no wear or fading in the canvas. The rear window has perfect clarity. The top is full power with not even a latch to touch just a button. Car comes with its factory top down boot cover which is also perfect. I am well aware that buying a high dollar collector/investment type car online can be a scary endeavor. I welcome and encourage anyone considering this car to arrange a private viewing before the auction ends. I can also take close up pictures of any particular areas and/or discuss the car by phone if requested by email. Before delivery to its new owner this car will receive a pre-purchase inspection and service at my expense. I will also have a full exterior/interior professional detail service done to protect the cars finish while in the hands of the transport company you choose. I will provide the phone # of the Porsche service center doing the PPI to the new owner upon receiving the refundable deposit. I think I have covered everything, but don't hesitate to ask any questions you may have. I am so confident in this car that I am offering it with no reserve so bid to own. I am expanding my practice so I am reducing my toy department to fund! Good Luck and Happy Bidding! If you have less than 5 feedback's you must contact me prior to bidding if not I will cancel your bid I cannot afford to waste time. Thank you. On May-04-10 at 18:56:17 PDT, seller added the following information:A few guys have asked to see a picture of the Vin. Ebay will not allow me to add any more pics since I used the 24 pics allowed. Since there are bids I cannot remove one either. I had my mechanic put up a for sale post on the used cars listings under the pelican parts forums.
