Up for auction is a 1970 Monte Carlo 2 door sport coupe. It is factory equipped with the 396/402 big block {330HP}. It also has bucket seats and console, power steering, power disc brakes, power windows, 12 bolt posi {331 ratio}, tilt steering wheel, sport steering wheel, AM/8-track radio and a few other options, all documented by the build sheet. This car has sat inside for about 20 years, some things were recently done such as plugs, cap, plug wires, oil change, new front brakes etc.. It does run and drive, shifts good and no rear axle noise. the motor runs pretty good actually. Tires were also changed as the ones on the car were dry rotted. With little more maintenance it could be a daily driver. The main things it needs are front shocks, and seal in power steering gear as it is very leaky. Underhood it is virtually stock. The engine code CKN shows to be correct for the car. The interior is in decent condition considering, the car needs paint though.
