Normal 0 Barn find 1975 model 1.8 914. This very original, time capsule had been sleeping since 1993. Solid original chassis. This bright head turner gets attention at every corner. This fine example originally came from Colorado, but came to NC in the 80's. It was stored in a heated basement from 1993 until recently, when we brought it back to the daylight. Amazingly rust free, this chassis needs nothing. Only some minor surface areas required treatment with POR15, the rest of the body is perfect, clean and straight as from the factory, free of rust, ready to drive when ever you desire. In amazing condition from storage, the only requirements to make her purr were the fluids were changed, brakes rebuilt, installed new pads and stainless braided brake lines. Tranny got new swepco gear oil and all new shift bushings. We installed new fuel injectors, lines, and a new dual relay. Motor starts easy every time, runs clean and strong. Transmission shifts smooth and easy. She also got a new bushing in the steering column, new Kumho 205/60 tires and a set of 5 original fuch rims. Super clean original carpet and dash. All seals are in good shape and original. Paint was re-sprayed in the 80s in original color. Receipts and maintenance history is documented from the 80’s, includes original owners manual. Odometer shows 43k on the clock, but was repaired at 60k. According to receipts, clutch replaced 20k ago. Consider trades toward 993 C2. Local inspection is welcome by appointment.
