Great Condition 1987 Mercedes-Benz 560SEL S-Class Sedan Up for auction is a Grey on Tan 1987 Mercedes Benz 560 SEL, the flagship Mercedes at that time. It is in great condition with only 185K miles on it. I am selling it for a friend of mine so i do not know much about it but it seems to be in very strong shape. The exterior is solid and the body is very straight, the paint is in great shape, and the only rust is a small amount on the front bumper (photographed). The interior is amazing for this milage, in great condition, with the only imperfection being a small rip on the driver's seat (photographed). IT has power seats, power windows, power sunroof, and even the rear seats recline. To the best of my knowledge, all of the electronics in the car work. I cannot seem to figure out how to pop the gas cap open electronically so i looked in the manual and found that you can pull a lever in the trunk to do it which worked but i do not think that is an issue with the car, but im not sure. The car is strong and fast and is a great daily driver as is. I have turned it over every weekend and each time it starts right up, and although it is unregistered and uninsured so i have never driven it on the road, i have driven it on private property and it works great. It is a solid daily driver as is and would be a truly beautiful car with very little work. The car is located about 30 miles outside of New York City and serious bidders are welcome to come see it.
