Vehicle Detail

Good Condition 1970 Mercedes-Benz 250 Sedan Up for auction is a 1970 Mercedes-Benz 250 Sedan that belongs to a friend of mine. It is in relatively good cosmetic condition with the only notable flaw being that the dashboard wood would look better if refinished and the console that houses the radio (which doesnt seem to be working) is not well attached (note photograph). Also the indicator that shows whether the car is in park, reverse, drive, etc does not work, although the actual automatic transmission works perfectly. The seats are covered in something that is either leather or vinyl, not sure but it is definitely origninal to the car and in very very good condition. The red paint is great looking and all of the manual windows operate perfectly. The car starts with the first turn of the key and i have been starting it every weekend with no problems. It is not registered or insured but i drove it today to the gas station to put some gas in it and it worked. It could probably use a tune up as i am not sure whether all of the cylindars are firing. STill, it is a low milage car that could be a real beauty with minimal work. It is located 30 miles outside of New York City and serious bidders are welcome to come and inspect the car. I will accept offers to end the auction early and i reserve the right to as the car is advertised locally. I have not listed cars on ebay before and i am sure i am forgetting something so feel free to send me an email with questions. It should be noted that i am selling the car AS-IS with no warantees implied or otherwise. All i know about the car is what i have observed and as i said, i am listing it for a friend. Please ask any questions before bidding as no returns are accepted. Overall it is a solid all original car that is in need of a tune up and a little cosmetic work to be a solid driver. Thanks. Also, the "Turbo" designation on the rear of the car was put on by the production crew of the movie it was used in (Ryan Gossling drove the car for his part in a film called "All Good Things" which comes out this fall) and the car is in fact not a turbo.
