For auction is a 1964 Ford Fairlane project car.I have owned this car since Nov 26th/2005. I purchased it from the estate of Murray A Webster in Metcalf,a small town on the outskirts of Ottawa Ontario.Murray supposedly had this car stored for twenty years,but it was on the road twenty years prior to that.As any one in eastern Ontario can contest too,twenty years of Canadian winters will leave most cars in the wreckers.This car is a survivor,my original intent was to clone it as a Thunderbolt,but circumstances put an end to that dream.I hope the next owner will give this made in Oakville Ontario car it's re birth.Some particulars are; It has a 260 2bbl,automatic,column shift,I believe all original,there is no gas tank,probably removed to work on rear frame rails which need repair or replaced.The odometer reads 82,299.8 miles,I don't know if it works.The interior needs a head liner,sun visors,front seat,new door panels,flooring.The rear seat is in poor condition.The floor toe boards are rusted through and in need of repair.Amazing the dash is not cracked.Over the last four years I purchased a headlight bucket.a used grille,and a piece of frame rail.There is also a pair of wheel discs. all parts go to new owner., Some trim is missing,the driver front fender is in rough shape,it looks like the former owner done some body work,but it needs more to put it where it should be.There is no front bumper. This is a car that needs a lot work,but the results could be that the owner has one of the most desired musle cars or classic cars that Ford or any one produced.This car is obviously not driveable,therefore buyer will have to pick it up with flatbed or trailer. The rims and tires in the pictures go with the car.I have never tried to start the engine, there is no battery,I would assume it seized,it will not turn manually by pushing on fan belt and turning the fan.I have only one key,it fits the trunk lock,but it won,t open the trunk. For picture reasons I climbed through the back seat to open the trunk.The key will not fit the iginition.I live five minutes from Trenton Ontario,s air base. I have the proper ownership,the buyer will need proper ID,particulars on ID will be arranged on closing or prior too. Remember there were only 100 Thuderbolts made,if you don't know about them,do some research,you won't regret it. This car could be parted out,since the parts can be valuable,that is up to the next owner. The heater box is not in the pictures,but it does go with the car.The former owner removed it,I would assume to do more work on the car. The car is inside a portable garage,that is why there is no full length pictures of it.I done the best I could,I hope you have the picture you need. The paint is extremely flat,which makes me believe it could original. This car is being re listed,former trans action has been cancelled using proper procedures through E Bay.Possibly due to illness of buyer. Since the car is not drive able,the new owner will need a winch of some type to put the car on his or hers flat bed or trailer. If for any reason the buyer is not satisfied,the deposit will be refunded. My aim is to unite this car with the best possible owner. There is no reserve,this car will be sold to highest bidder.
