This is a very well-loved European model 250SL. The 250SL was manufactured only one year and is the rarest of the SLs. I've owned this car for 6 years and have always kept it tucked in the garage. It is not a show car but is gorgeous and definitely an attention-grabber. We now have four cars and I don't have room for it anymore. The car has a scratch on the passenger side (see photos) that happened recently. The reserve reflects the cost of repairing the scratch. The paint, top, and upholstery were new when I bought the car 6 years ago. They've had little wear since then (minor paint dings). Because this is a European model it has the extended front headlights and the speedometer is in kilometers. The speedometer reads 73,882 kilometers but I believe it's turned over once (which translates to about 108,000 miles). The car was involved in an accident (a guy in an SUV backed into it while it was parked and hit the front driver's fender). I had it repaired at the Mercedes-recommended body shop and it looks like new. The car has both its hard top and soft top. It has a newer Blaupunkt AM/FM stereo and automatic transmission. You will love this car.
