Priced to sell, This is a No Reserve Auction, SO if you place a bid, and you are the only bidder, this bike is yours No Negative bidders Please, 0 or Under 10 Feedback, you must Email or call with All of your personal information, and get a response from me, prior to placing a Bid, If Not your Bid will be removed and you will be blocked from bidding. 1980 GS1000ST "Wes Cooley Replica", Restorable Condition, Made only in 1979 and 1980, 1980 came with the 80 MPH SpeedoWhere never built for USA market, but Approx. 700 Copies of these were imported into USA, after US dealers made a pitch to Mr Suzuki. I Bought this bike in New Orleans (from 1ST Owner) with 350 miles in 1981, Rode it until i got pinched (no ops and no Ohio Title). After Court and Big Fine, Got it titled on 04-21-1982, Then Rode it till 1990 (about 2500, Miles Per Year) and then put it away in pieces. AS of Today the Bike is not running (Bought a New Battery, Plenty of spark, and it will be Running FOR SURE by mid Week). 26000 Miles, and in Heated storage since 1990, All Body parts were wrapped, All nuts, bolts and fasteners were marked, and then put away in Boxes. Original Small Parts/Trim Pieces are there (stuff you wont find). All OEM Parts are there with the exception of: Original Exhaust (1ST owner cut end out with Dremmel, and i tossed them) Original Windscreen and Mirrors (boxed them up, but cannot find them) Original Shocks (i think i sold them in 1985 ???) What a Dumb #$%^ move Aftermarket Add ons the Come with this bike: Accel coils and Wires, (have original Coils and Wires) Aluminum Rear Over sized Sprocket (have the original Sprocket) Stainless Steel Front Brake lines (have the original Front brake lines) Also have new Front Brake pads, Original Rear Pads and 2 New Oil Filters Body Parts are Very Very good with the Following Issues: Original Seat has to be redone, Large Tear in top, 2 small ones on the side Tank Lettering and Striping in Very Good Shape, with a few minor chips and scratches Yellowing on One side due to the tank bag straps that were mounted for years Front Fender and seat Cowl are in very good shape (but need buffed out) Fairing and side Covers have a scratch or two (See the Photo bucket for the close up pics) Bike is not assembled !, This is a very simple restoration, and the following are the thing that need replaced or Attention: Bike Needs Body Parts Re-assembled, and After we get it Running, the Carb's Will Need Sinked, And the bike needs Detailed. New parts are: New battery (bought last week).
