This Porsche 928 runs very strong. I purchased it two years ago from a private seller. The first summer (garaged winters) I ran it with no trouble and loved it. The next summer (2009)), I got it out of the garage and decided that I would spend some money to ensure that it would last for a long time. So since that point have had the following done (all within the last 12 months): NEW Timing BeltNEW Water PumpNEW Radiator AssemblyReplace Front Cam SealReplace Front Crank SealNEW ECM RelayLower Radiator HoseUpper Radiator HoseThermostatAlternator BeltPower Steering BeltAC BeltAir Pump BeltRear Brake RotorsRear Brake PadsNEW Liftgate LatchNEW Vehicle Speed SensorNEW Continental Extreme Contact Tires (all 4) All work was done by a great shop here in Upstate NY. In total over $7000.00 in parts and labor were put into this vehicle. Now that the work is done, I unfortunately find myself in need of selling the car. To make this a show vehicle, you would have to fix the following three items: 1) Replace front seats (or seat covers). They are fine as are to drive daily, but they are original and show some wear.2) Replace the dash board. Again, this is fine as is, but there are a few cracks on the dash that would need to be fixed before making this a show car3) Paint. There are a handful of chips in the current paint job (no dents or anything). A new paint job would make this car REALLY impressive. I also need to let you know that the speedometer does not always function. I can drive the car 50 mph, then look back at the speedometer and it is at zero. I mention this for two reasons. 1) Don't get pulled over and 2) the mileage does not add up when this happens. Current mileage on the car is 81,965, but it is possible the actual mileage is higher. You wouldn't know it by the way it drives though. Please note the following: 1) There is a slight fuel leak if you fill the tank to the very top. I just noticed this morning. 2) SELLER WILL PAY FOR SHIPPING anywhere in the lower 48 states IF AND ONLY IF Buyer uses the "BUY IT NOW" feature on EBAY. 3) There is no reserve price on this auction On Apr-30-10 at 07:55:05 PDT, seller added the following information: As this is a NO RESERVE AUCTION, the BUY IT NOW feature was disabled with the first bid.
