Vehicle Detail
Hello fellow eBayers! I am listing my 1971 Ford Ranchero 500. I purchased the car in California due to its completely rust free body and the fact that it is still wearing its factory fresh paint. I decided to let the car go because I am restoring a 1955 Chevrolet Bel-Air and need the funds! I will describe my Ranchero as best as possible so you feel comfortable with your purchase. I also encourage any serious buyers to come view the car before bidding on it to feel comfortable with your purchase. I am new to ebay because I am just learning how to use the computer with the help of my savy nephew! The Body: This Ranchero still has original paint job!. There are no signs the car has ever had any bodywork or accidents. The car still shines like new with only very light scratches and some very minor dings. Have you seen another Ranchero this original lately???!!!! The bed of the Ranchero was waxed regularly throughout its garaged life with no signs of anything rougher than a blanket in it! When the Ranchero was purchased it had a dealer installed high end fiberglass tanou cover keeping the bed safe from the elements when it was cruising southern Californian streets. The Interior: The Ranchero of course has its completely original interior with minimal wear for its age and mileage. It has some seam seperation on the drivers side and one crack in the dash pad. Everything else is like new, just look at the pictures! The Wheels and Tires: The original steel wheels and styled hubcaps are still in like new condition. The car has had the tires replaced recently and have plenty of tread/ The car still has its original spare behind the seat that has never hit the ground aswell as still having its cover over it. It also still has its original jack and tools. The Motor: The Ranchero has the rare 351 Cleveland motor instead of the lesser 6 cylinder or 302 motors. It appears to be completely unmolested and fires right up. It makes plenty of power and is up to whatever task you may have for it! The Transmission: I believe it is a C4. It shifts smoothly with no slippage or hard shifts. The Options: The Ranchero has dealer installed air conditioning; power disc brakes; perfect tinted glass with no scratches or chips; air shocks; Transmission cooler; trailer hitch; tonou cover. These are the ones I know of! Overall: I believe you would be hard pressed to find a Ranchero as original and or as clean as this one. I am selling it with no reserve so bid to own! Please no dreamers. Good Luck and happy bidding!
