So all of that aside I have a very nice 1982 vintage Honda CM250 custom, that was partially restored. The bike was already really nice with super low miles at 11K. This bike is perfect for beginners and/or ladies who want to ride. The seat height is very low at only 30.5 inches and very light and nimble. This is a twin cylindar four stroke five speed with chain drive. Anyway, the bike had the typical road grime and chips and whatnot in the frame, so I cleaned it up really well, repainted the frame, added a new battery about a month ago, also the bike has brand new tires on it. I also cleaned, rebuilt, and set up the carburetor. As the bike sat in a heated garage for a while. The chrome throughout the bike is nice for the year, but does have that old chrome look under certain lighting conditions where it kind of looks like specs, but not rusty. The wheels are very nice, exhaust and front fender have a few minor dings in them, and scuffs. As you can see the only thing that takes away from this bike that I did not do, due to many other bikes I have to get done, and also keep the cost lower for you the buyer, is the paint on the gas tank has seen better days. The clear coat is peeling pretty bad on the right side, as you can see, it also has a few scratches throughout, and one tiny ding in top of tank. The paint and decals on the side convers is still very nice for the year. The bike starts, idles, and runs like a top. It is very smooth and nice power for a 250cc. The transmission shifts very smoothly and everything else on the bike works, lights, turn signals, horn, and gauges. The only thing it could use is a bulb for the backlight on the right gauge, which is just for your neutral and high beam indicator, so it really isn't that big of a deal. The speedo light does work. The gas tank is nice and clean on the inside for the year. The exhaust and behind where the license plate mounts there is a little bit of rust here and there in the crevices that you can't get at, but you really have to look for it. I just want to let you know because I like to be descriptive as possible in my listings. Actually the license plate hides all of that anyway. OEM seat pretty much looks like new. The bike does not have any damp spots or leaks anywhere, it is a very clean bike. So ride as is, or paint the tank to finish off this sweet little vintage cruiser. These bikes are very reliable and very rare. You do not see too many around at all, and again they are the perfect size for beginners, so do not miss it! See my other auctions for some more machines. Again, please read all details and requirements at the top of this page, prior to bidding, THANK YOU!
