1996 FORD F-450 FLATBED CANNOT BE REGISTERED IN CALIFORNIA POWERSTROKE 7.3 TURBO DIESEL AUTOMATIC TRANS DUALLY 108" X 96" DECK WITH STAKES FROM PACIFIC GAS & ELEC. FLEET MAINTAINED CANNOT BE REGISTERED IN CALIFORNIA We are offering a 1996 Ford F-450 dually flatbed truck with liftgate. The truck runs like a new one. It has been well cared for. It has under 76,000 miles on it, which it nothing for a truck like this. The 7.3 Powerstroke in trucks like this are known to go well over 500,000 miles between overhauls. It runs great, has plenty of power and is very economical to operate. This truck has ABS braking, front air bag, dual fuel tanks, air conditioning and more. The floor covering is rubber mat. The seats are fabric. The tires on this are all radials and are better than 70% life left. The bed is 9' long X 8' wide. The stakes are in very nice condition. There are strap winches on the bottom of the bed for tying down the load. The liftgate is a Eagle and is all test good. There are a few issues that we need to disclose. For some reason, whenever PG&E retires their trucks, they have them painted white. The paint job is a very poor quality work, and you can see the original blue color on the door seems and such. We were told that the original blue color is PG&E and they do this so the truck is not confused with the others in their fleet. Its too bad because the original blue color is kind of nice. Outside of this, there is nothing else that need to be said about this truck. There may be slight issues, such as a small crack on the dashboard that is heat related, but what truck of this age does not have such issues. In fact, outside of the crack on the dash, I do not see any other issues anywhere on the truck. Mechanically, this truck is perfect. I could not see anything wrong with it. It drive like a dream, the engine runs perfect, the transmission is excellent. The brakes are all working properly. The steering is very straight. The A/C is very cold. In all, this truck drives like when it was brand new. This truck has never been exposed to any snow or icy roads. There is no rust or corrosion anywhere. Vehicles from Southern California preserve very well because of the dry weather. There are no discomforting odors. The truck has never been smoked in. It has never been involved in any accidents.
