grandincandycompany Store 1974 VW Thing....great daily driver that needs a little TLC to be an excellent daily driver.....take a look at pictures and ask questions.....the rust is easy to repair and can be seen in the pics......floorpans are in great shape.....paint is faded......seats are original and in good shape......under the hood is great......engine runs strong but it vapor locks like they all do.......front end has been rebuilt with German ball joints..... steering is loose and gearbox could use a rebuild or adjustment......top is new but has some holes in the center.....top frame works fine but right rail has a bend.......original windows need rebuilding......I looked for a Thing 15 years ago but never bought one.....I found this one last year on Craigslist and bought it as soon as I saw it.....doesn't have the rust you normally see....42000 miles showing but odometer doesn't work....speedometer does work.....this is not a basketcase......seperation/divorce forces sale......$500 deposit can be made through PayPal....balance due (but not through PayPal because of fees ) when you pick the car up.
