Vehicle Detail
We are selling a 1932 confederate 5 window coupe. The proceeds of this sale are going to help finish paying for our adoption and bring our son home from Korea. The car is in good condition, needs minimal body work. Very little rust the reddish color evident in the pictures is primer, there is no rust thru that we are aware of. The wood piece at the back of the trunk is in need of replacement as is the apholstery. It is almost completely original and is registered, licensed and insured. The engine runs and it is driveable in its current condition. It idols well and the doors shut tight and the windows work. We still have the original owners manuel and parts book. It is missing one small knob on the dash board for the heat riser. Not original apholstery, this needs to be redone the rumble seat is pretty much just the springs, but is intact and useable. We do have an original tail light, it had been removed while doing body work. As with any vehicle there may be things discovered to fix as it is worked on but I am trying to be transparent in this posting and tell about all the problems I am aware of. It is in very good condition and would be a good car to restore and show. My father purchased this many years ago and just hasn't gotten around to restoring it. Now he feels he will not be able to as he is getting older and my mom recently passed away. I remember as a kid going on "private parades" around town in the rumble seat on saturday afternoons. This tradition has continued with my nieces as well. This car has brought my family alot of joy over the years but now my dad would just like someone to finish it. If it ever does get restored his wish is to have a picture of the finished vehicle. On Apr-24-10 at 19:46:46 PDT, seller added the following information: There is a typo on the mileage. As shown in the picture the mileage appears to be 65909 not 6590.
