I purchased this sharp Eldorado in March from its original owner who lives across the street from me. For quite a few years this was a third car and it sat more than it was driven. The retired attorney has been a Cadillac owner since the early 60's and continues to own two Cadillacs today. The car has never been in any accidents and the original paint is in excellent condition with the exception of a few scuffs and dings on the painted bumpers. There are two other cosmetic issues, one is a small dent above the passenger front headlight, the other is a scrape in the plastic lower molding on the passenger side towards the rear. This Eldorado was purchased as gift for the original owners wife from Roger Mier Cadillac in Dallas. The exterior upgrades including the canvas carriage top, gold accents and custom pin striping were added by the dealer before the sale. The delivery date was May of 1998. The custom pin stripes which include a signature are in good shape with the exception of the drivers front fender where there is a section that has worn thin. This car does not have a sunroof. After purchasing the car, I had it checked out and I replaced the upper and lower front tie rod ends, the oil pressure switch, the upper passenger side engine mount and two tires. All systems work as they should, with cold A/C and multi position memory seating. The optional 6 CD player mounted in trunk delivers beautiful sound through the original speakers. The interior for its age would be considered flawless with no cracks or tears in the leather, no stains on the carpet, even the carpet mats a are flat with only minor wear. The padded dash is excellent, the wood accents and door panels are excellent, the only interior flaw is the ash tray cover that will not stay down. Also, this a non smoker car, so it smells like leather when you get in! The car will need a tune up in the near future but after warmup it runs as smooth as a watch. All in All, a very nice, non abused car showing a few signs of elderly ownership. Please ask questions if you have any, as I will tell all I know about the car.
