Vehicle Detail
This car has not ran since 2006. It was running fine when last used and everything worked. The reason I stopped using it was because I came across another car that was slightly bigger (a station wagon--which I still have), that served my purposes much better, plus it was easier for me to get in and out of since I am about 6 feet tall. It was my daily driver (to work), and I never had any serious problems with it (which is one reason I have kept it all this time--hoping someday to use it again), but since I find that I don't need it anymore, I decided to sell it (with some encouragement from my wife). Even though the pictures basically speak for themselves, as you can see the interior is very nice, the tires are still decent, it has beauty rings on the wheels, an AM and FM radio, recently installed new CV joints with new axles (both sides--shortly before I stopped using it), inside remote mirror adjustment, and other things. Some of the negatives (at least what I know about), are that it has some rust issues (mainly around the door sills and rockers and some on the deck lid), also needs a new battery and brakes and brake lines and has a 'L' shaped crack in the windshield. This car has been sitting outside all this time and was once covered but the cover blew away during a storm awhile ago, thus the paint is peeling in some spots and is dirty from melted snow. I suppose it is possible to get this car roadworthy again (that would be to the buyers discretion), but I am selling it mainly as a parts car. I was always careful to take care of this car during the time I used it for work, thus the reason it is still in this condition (except for the rust, battery and brakes-- which mostly happened from sitting since 2006). I was thinking of junking the car for scrap steel prices (which is over $100 a ton now), but then thought that there might be someone out there that might be restoring one and might need some good parts, so I will go this route first. The buyer must pick up the car at its present location (home). If you have any other questions, please ask before bidding.
