Vehicle Detail

1978 Pontiac Trans Am T/A 6.6 If you're looking for a nice 78 Smokey and the Bandit style Trans Am, you'll want this. I'm listing this here for a friend of mine. He bought this as a project car and started restoring but his business is really slow now so he said he's not financially able to put anymore money into it to finish it so I told him I'd list it here for him so serious buyers could have a chance to get it. He's already put a bunch of new stuff on the car so you could pick up where he left off and make this a nice car! He just had motor rebuilt, transmission rebuilt all sorts of new parts on the drivetrain etc. I'll list all this stuff below in detail... I have 20 pictures of it below so you can see every angle so please be patient while they load. It's reserved at only $6,500 Specs and general information: 1978 Pontiac TransAm w/ Hurst Hatch T-Tops 403 Oldsmobile V8 Automatic Transmission Vin# 2W87K8L156847 Mileage on odometer: 68,227 miles Exterior paint color: Black Interior color: Black Here's what's good about this car and everything he has already done: -It has newly, completely rebuilt motor. -Has a newly, completely rebuilt trasmission He says it has maybe 200 miles on new motor and transmission. -It has the original Snowflake rims which he just had powder coated so they are in like new condition. -It has brand new tires. It has a brand new headliner It has all new ball joints (upper and lower), new sway bars, all new bushings. It has new seals on both doors. All gauges and lights in dash work. It has no serious body damage, no bondo work on body and no bad rust spots. The front seats and rear seat are in great shape. No tears or serious wear. Here's anything that's wrong: Paints not in bad shape but to make it a show car, it could be repainted. It has minor nicks and scratches in the current paint. No a/c but he still has all the a/c parts that come with the car. He said it has a minor leak on passenger side T-top at back, top of where door shuts. He said left rear wheel bearing will probably need to be replaced soon. I've listed everything I thought you should know about this car and he gave me the details of the good and bad of it. However, if there are any other questions you have about this car, feel free to contact me and ask. Pictures: Thanks and good luck bidding. Any questions, feel free to contact me. Tim Prescott
