You are bidding on a 1997 GMC, 3500 HD SL series. The truck was sold new in 1998. This is the heavy duty 3500 straight front axle with HD chassis 2WD ; 135 1/2" wheelbase/ 4- wheel disc brake system. The vehicle has 116,405 original miles on a 6.5 Turbo Diesel, with 5-speed transmission. Engine starts and runs great, no smoke at start up (hot or cold). Truck has had recent complete service: oil, lube & filters ; new professional paint on cab and bed. The 8' x 8' Knapheide flatbed was dealer installed new, and has a recessed gooseneck hitch in bed. This vehicle has been in Central Fl, so there is not a concern over rust issues. Mechanically the truck runs and drives great, and I know of no other issues other than the A/C not working properly.
